I am running on Slayers EvoX 2.6 my xbox starts running with a green light, resets twice then appears (from the sounds it makes) to be loading but then starts flashing red and green with no picture or sound on the tv..... I also cannot open the disk tray. Can anyone give me the noobs guide to fixing it? If not can someone answer these questions? Is it an easy fix? Does it require me to open the xbox? Any help would be much appreciated
How new is your xbox? if its a 1.6 it could be a chip problem (on board). Think some reg chips are going bad. you could get you hands on a new one for cheap but its a difficult hardware install. If your xbox hasnt been opend you could ship it off to ms. although if it wont boot properly for you i dont see how your gonna get evox off the HDD. what version xbox do you have? What kind of mod do you have? chip, tsop?
