i just installed my xenium S.P.ICE and when i boot up my xbox instead of the xenium screen or the xbox booting animation, my screen just stays blank

the xbox turns on, then off, then on, then off, then on then flashes green/red when i boot up my xbox

    any ideas?

    I can :)

What Xbox version are you working on?

The only 2 reasons why your Xbox is doing the 3x reboot sequence is because you failed to install the chip correctly and/or you have some broken or lifted traces.

So go back over your solder points, and make sure that there are no lifted pads or traces. Also make sure your points are connected securely, and that they are all connected to the right place.

About your hard drive question. You will need to get a new motherboard and hard drive, not just one of the two. Every Xbox motherboard is programmed to work with the hard drive it comes with, and if you swap just one of the two things you will get an error when booting the Xbox up.

If you check over everything, and it is still not working, contact someone on this site, http://webpages.charter.net/modchipzone/ and they might be able to help you further....
