I get a red led when i start my xbox and the screen freezes. I can't ftp to the xbox since i don't have any of the network settings. I used the splinter cell exploit and then the AID v2.11 to install the softmod. But when i restarted nothing happened. I can start with the eject button and it loads to the ms dash. From here i can listen to songs and check the system settings but when i try to check network connections it freezes. I have tried my normal and backed up games and they all freeze. I then tried to softmod with NDURE and Xboxhdm. With this it said it was successful but i still have the same problem with the Red Led. I don't know what to do. Can someone please help?
what error code now? Does it still play game? Do you see microsoft logo appear under XBOX when turn on?
There are no error codes when a game is in the dvd tray it just stays at a black screen. When the xbox is turned on with the eject button it does show the logo with microsoft and goes to the MS dash. It just goes to a black screen when you access network settings. It doesn't play games just freezes at a black screen.
