    Hi,
I'm trying to make a backup of my 4 DVD series discs of Shoah. I can backup the last 3 but I keep getting a redundancy error when I try to back up the 1st. disc.

This is a foreign film with English and French subtitles. I used DVDXCopy, I tried my 1 click with Anydvd and I tried my new registered version of CloneDvd2 with AnyDVD and I still get the same error and it stops reading at about 52%.

I've cleaned my disc and even went to the library to borrow theres to troubleshoot and it's the same deal.

What could be the thing that's stopping me from making my backup? Is there something in the language?

Anybody ever have this happen to them with backups?

    Thanks,
    G.

A "CRC" error is most often caused by bad media - it could be any of the following:

    1. A dirty disc,
    2. A scratched disc
    3. A poor quality disc (cheap media if it happens during the "Burn" section of your work)
    4. A bad disc from the Mfgr.

Try ripping the disk to your hard Drive with the ripper that comes with AnyDvd. Or try Ripit4me.
