reformated c drive want to upgrade hd

    I successfully soft modded with sid 4. I backed my xbox during the install. Stupid me accidentally formated the c drive with AID 5. My xbox still works fine but I want to upgrade the hd. I copied all the files in the hdm linux folder but obviously because I reformatted the c drive the c folder is empty. If I want to upgrade the hard drive would my empty c folder be a problem? Im going to use the hdm boot disc method to upgrade.

    as long as you can boot fine now if you make an exact copy of your hard drive then you will be fine.

    Much better idea to install a fresh setup to a new HDD. My tutorials show you exactly how to do it and also the links for clean dashboard files!

    Thanks. Im getting the clean dash files. Im going to use chunkheads tuts. Ill let you guys know how it goes.
