Reformatted a few weeks ago. Now Madden 2007 is running at a crawl.

I recently reformatted my PC about four weeks ago and everything else is running fine. I tried to install Madden 2007 (which I've used before and it has ran beautifully without any problems). The game installs fine, but runs unbearably slow even the menu screens.

Before I reformatted I had the game install on my second hard drive. When I reformatted I left the game files alone.
The first time I tried to play I clicked the icon and the game would not run, so I put in the disc and reinstalled it without deleting the original Madden folder. After I install it I realized that it was running unbearably slow, so I reinstalled again this time deleting the Madden directory before starting a fresh install. There was no change the game and still run incredibly slow. As I said it ran just fine before I reformatted. And everything else seems to be running just fine

I can't just upgrade to a new version because the newer versions don't work well with the controller I like use.

    Here are my system specs
Intel core two duo 2.4 GHz processor
    2 GB of RAM
    8800 GTS 320 MB
    Intel D975Xbx2 motherboard

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Umm I don't think it's hardware issues, do you have all your software installed like direct x and video card drivers?
you can download drivers from nvidia.
