Use 6 times using sony dvd+R disc.. all fail and got this error.. later try burning with verbatim dvd-r.. can work... so i choose burn the same project again on my sony dvd+r... it failed again...
so i assume that nero is not happy with my disc right ?
so my question is.. if am using another dvd program.. will it work ?
my dvd write is HL-ST-DT DVD RAM support dvd+r and dvd-r

PS. i used to burn data disc with dvd+R disc.. but most of the time with dvd-r...

Please post the entire log from your failed burn. Leave out your Nero serial number. (Your serial number is a 16 digit number at the top of the log.)
You were correct in switching to Verbatim. Sony DVDs, made in Japan are supposed to be OK. Those made in Taiwan are not good.

Using another DVD program will usually not help. It is not Nero having the problem. It is your burner having a problem with a bad blank disc. Nero is simply reporting the problem.

Make sure your burners' firmware is up to date.

Use a burn speed of 4X or not more than 1/2 the rated speed of the media.

Make sure you have your DMA enabled.

Posting the entire log will tell us about all of this.

This was posted over on CD Freaks and I saw in his log there is 255MB of memory.....memory use is 76% and Nerovision spit out "Key-Medium-Error". The log mentions Sony discs. Probably Taiwan jobs. It will burn the -R but not the +R....something not right in the bookmarking process? Guess a second opinion is always good!
