hi guys ! can anyone tell me what the wii region changer does ? does it allow you to play american or japanese games on your wii(europe)...if so ,is it safe to use !!!
region changing is generally safe, however you can come unstuck with nintendo's updates. A Korean wii region changed to USA, when updated via nintendo can 003 brick. To play out of region games prior to firmware 4.0 - can do it naturally, 4.2 blocked the option, on older wii's priiloader has a hack to reinstate it. Playing from a HDD has no limitation of region.
