    I am using an ASUS burner on my laptop. In OZ we are region3

    When I used decrypter I was prompted that I was not using a region ree firmware (I assume that is what it was saying). When I went to the site as directed it said non were availabe.

    Anyway I burnt the disk OK but it will not play on the drive that recorded it.

    It will play on my region free Panasonic E100R

    The original movie was region 3 and my DRD recordable drive is 3

    Any suggestions?

    @Gpoobah
    If the original is RCE protected decrypter will pop this up - click on the correct region # and the dvd ripped will be region free.
    Even if your didn't remove it - it should still play since it's all the same region.
    The brand of blank discs may be the culprit here. Which ones are you using?
