Hey you guys... I Need a free region free dvd player.. I have Intervideo winDvd and have been using DvD 43.. which has worked amazingly up until now. Now one of my dvd's are in but dvd43 doesnt detect that there is a dvd in the drive.. intervideo does so it wants me to change my region.. is there any other dvd region free players that ARE free that you recommend me using? please please! Thank you for your time!
i always solve this in hardware instead. Whenever i buy a dvd-rom drive i make sure to buy a drive that already has region-free firmware available (i even did this with my LG CD burner/dvd-rom combo drive). Then when i want to play a DVD thru windvd or powerdvd etc, i fire up dvdgenie (version 4.10) first. There's also nothing stopping you being able to select another region if you so wish. My drives are permanently set to region-free.
