I'm pretty much an amateur when it comes to dvds on computers, so this could potentially be a stupid question, but is there a way to make a DVD drive regionless/region 0? Some piece of hardware or software that could do that? It doesn't have to be freeware or anything, though hopefully under $200.

Both my computers, though, are laptops, so if it's hardware, is there something that would work in a laptop?

    Thanks!

Try a Google search for DVD Ghost.

AnyDvd by SlySoft is what you want, it tricks the OS into think that the drive is region free. This is top software rated by lots here...

It is well worth the money, I can assure you of that!
