I'm attempting to help my sister solve a problem for why her new digital camera/camcorder won't install. The problem is I'm 50 miles away from her so I'm doing it over the phone. Here's what she tells me is happening: While installing a VuPoint Solutions camera via CD she gets a message reading regsvr32.exe unable to launch. The PC is a Compaq and OS is Vista Any thoughts on this? Missing file? Anything? Thanks!
It's trying to register a (dll) file. Perhaps she has to be an Administrator? Sorry, don't know about Vista - with XP you can right click on the install file and 'Run as..' and select an Administrator.
