Regular boot up then error screen

    After 1 month of trying to fix my xbox I finally got it to boot up as normal, but then it gives me an error screen, telling me my xbox needs work. I removed the DVD-drive and hdd, but when I go to put the IDE cable back in, the xbox screen turns off. It can't be the wire either because i just bought a new one. Anyone know how to fix it?

    Modchips' d0 solder point often gives a lot of problems, maybe check that?

    The chip isn't even in...I think it might be the dvd drive, but im not sure. Any idea?
