Can anyone help? I got screwed over by mod-chip.com I ordered swap magic. They took my money, but I received no product. So now, I am very cautious about where I give my credit card number out. I am looking for a reliable source to buy a good quality mod chip, or boot disk in the USA. They must accept paypal (because I know I can get my money back if they don't hold up their end of the deal). It would also be nice if they have a phone number, not just an email address.
I have bought from mod-chip again a month ago and got my modchips. How long have you waited and have you contacted them. Because one of my package got lost in the mail once and they reship agian with UPS and it took 2.5 weeks but at lease i got it.
maybe 3 weeks. They said they'd look in to it. I emailed them 5-6 times, and they quit responding to my emails. Did you pay for the express shipping?
I paid with the cheap shipping through USPS. kinda strange of them to stop answering emails though but it also could be that they have alot of orders during christmas? thanx. I ordered a boot disk from someone else though. If that doesn't work out, I will check out your links. I ordered from mod-chip.com originally. I am pretty sure that they are the same company as modchip.com Both sites are set up in a similar fashion. They both have very similar prices and products. They both offer the same shipping options.
Teammodders.com can sell and install the modchip. and will take Paypal payments. Paypal is very good about refunding money when you get ripped off, unlike credit card companies. Getting a GOOD mod chip installed would have been a much better option then using Swap Magic.
