Remote Desktop Connection Video Lag

    I remotely connect to my desktop PC(Pentium i7, 2.67Ghz, 3GB RAM) over wifi via a laptop running a 1.5Ghz AMD Athlon with 1GB of RAM with XP. The dsktop is in the next room so reception is really good.

    Everything is runs really good and snappy except when I play video like youtube or avi's. The sound and video is real choppy and unwatchable, just wondering what would cause this and how could I fix it???
