remote's not working on the box

I have a starview the box but the remote control doesn't seem to be working.. I tried the remote on my other starview 1 and the remote's are both working fine, so its not the batteries. All the channels are there when i scroll through the arrows manually on the box itself but it just doesn't seem to recognise any remote controls?? Any one any ideas on a solution?

 

turn it off at the back and back on, see if that works,

I would reflash it. To check if remotes are working you can point the remote at a camera phone as though you are going to take a pic, when you press the remote you can see it flashing.

But in your case you already know it is working, so I reckon it is the box.

 

so the remote is woking on the other starview and not the box?

 

just reflashed it and it still wouldn't work.. i turned the power on and off at the back and now it works fine.. very strange! THanks for the help guys, much appreciated
