I have windows xp on drive c and tried to install windows vista beta 2 on drive E, but it didn't work because E isn't a primary partition. It gets half way through the install so that it appears in the boot select menu but doesnt boot when it is selected. So i installed it on drive D instead and it works fine. The problem is that now i have two entries for windows vista in the boot menu (only one of them works). In windows xp i would use msconfig to remove it from the boot menu but it says in the boot.ini file that it is only used for windows xp and earlier, and there is only one entry under operating systems, windows xp. How do you remove a windows vista installation from the boot menu?
