Does anyone know the best way of identifying and deleting bad frames from DivX files so I can maintain the audio/video sync when converting to SVCD???
I've found DivFix and it works ok, but the audio can still go a little out of sync. It doesn't seem to remove ALL of the bad frames and the bits left in throw it out a little still.

i already got this prob. in the past ; here what i made.

start your divx in virtualdub , browse the navigation bar in bottom to the bad frame.

me , virtualdub write a message in bottom ( where the frame number of the movie is) for bad frame. write this number in a paper ( browse the bar beggining and last of the bad frames).

with this number , extract(with virtualdub) or frameserving with tmpgenc , the good part (ex:frame 0 to 25313 and 25365 to end.....)

that's the way i made it , it take time but it work for me.

good luck or maybe someone else have another solution.

Don't worry, I've sorted it. I'd like to thank you all for your help - I'd like to - but you didn't - so I won't.
