Removing Static on Video

    Hi guys,


    I recently brought a Hong Kong movie, but it has alot of static on the screen as the movie is NOT digitally remastered.

    Below is a download clip (1mb, 10 sec). I have used:

    Virtualdub - temperol smoother, smoother etc. No changes....

    Is there a software which is designed to remove these static/noise.

    Well I couldn"t really see any Real Noise in that Image all I noticed was that the Video was very dark....

    Also when you add filters to clean up the Image you also have to re-render the Video so it can Be Processed useing the Filters you have Chosen but this also means that the File must be ReCompressed which will generally Make you loose More Quality than you gain by useing the Filters.....
