    Hi All,

I have looked and looked and to no avail. I am now running out of disk space since each om my games is taking up 1.4Gb and dont really want to get another disk. How do I compress/remove garbage from the iso for storage then restore the original when and if I want to burn another backup?

    Thanks all.

There's a program on modthatcube that removes all the garbage data, but the name of the program itself escapes me. The method is called "wiping the image" if that helps at all.

Looks good. Got the files GCMUtility0.5.zip and GCMUtility.zip. I'll try it tonight to see what does what ) Thanks for the info.

ok i've tried it out now and the program GCMUtility0.5.zip looks good. I'm able to choose my iso and shrink it down to about 25% of the original size depending on the game. The next test is to see if I can burn the now compressed file back to cd, adding the garbage data back in. Only problem now is that I have run out of DVDs :( Ill report back soon.

yes run fstfix on the already smaller files that'll add some junk data that will make it into the 1.4GB file it needs to be, then burn the ISO to dvd using nero and you're good to go
