I just spent an entire day downloading a 4 gig rar sequence only to find the .r00 file missing. I found the missing file somewhere, however have an issue: The file in the sequence I originally downloaded was, for example, YYY.avi The file in the .r00 I got to stand-in is called YYY-DivX.avi Everything perfectly checks out, but I need to rename the file to "YYY.avi" in the .r00 I downloaded. I've looked around and can't find a thing.
right click and choose rename? or unpack all the rest along with it, then put them in the same directory (rename with 1-2-3-4 etc as needed) and use the dos "copy" command to join them. copy file1 file2 etc etc filename.avi this assumes you have a clue about using the dos window
