rented dvd's

    If one wanted to copy a dvd he or she had rented from say Movie Gallery or Blockbuster how would one do so. He or she has nero with Microsoft XP and would appreciate further assistance.

    Welcome to AfterDawn, newbie! You can check out the tab on top for the Software and there are plenty to choose from! Most member praise AnyDVD & CloneDVD, you can get them here: WWW.slysoft.com

    Another good program is DVDDecrypter (this rips the DVD to the hard drive) then use DVDShrink to compress and burn with your favorite burning software. DVDDecrypter is no longer available on this site but it still is available at other websites. You can download Shrink here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm

    check out the [bold]GUIDES[/bold] tab on the top of this page. You have some reading to do... this is a good start for you! go to it! All is here at this site and you can be on your way to burning all the DVDs you want!

    Copying movies from blockbuster is illegal. Dont help someone who is stupid enough to talk about piracy here. My 2c

    Reported. Talking about "renting" and burning them is inappropriated period.
