    Hi,

    I have a problem when I watch a xvid/divx movie on my divx-player.
The subtitle is usually attached on a black bar below the movie.
But that sucks becourse there is a nice larege movie screen with a stupid black bar below the movie.

I have had a couple of movies wich had a transparant black bar with the subtitle attached.
That was a little better, but it would be even more better if the subtitle was attached on the movie-screen itself.

So I would like to know if there is a tool that can fix that, or at least make that black bar transparant.

Well if it is an external sub then some formats allow for setting the position, however I doubt it would work on a standalone. Also it sounds like maybe your subs are hard encoded.

Yeah, if the subs are hard encoded to the movie itself then you're out of luck. IF they are external, there are ways to use VobSub and VirtualDub to hard encode it to an avi in the position you want it.
