My xbox 360 just not reading games no more and it takes me to the white screen and says that to put the game in a xbox 360 console. I did a little bit of research and This a drive problem or a bad cd, but I tried with all my games and it all went to the same screen. So can anyone show me a guide or tell me wut to do? So far all i know is I'm going to need to buy a new drive off ebay and I want the samsung or toshiba drives. Does my xbox 360 has to have a toshiba or samsung already in it? Then I heard about the dvd key or something like that. So thats basicly my problem can you guys help me out?
If you replace the laser instead of the whole drive, you would not have to worry about key numbers. I fix a lot of xbox's and really haven't seen to many drive problems for reading disks, other then the magnet that pops out. Usally its an overheated board that causes the problems. Good luck
aye does your eject when you it vertical mine does the same white screen when i put a game in but gets the drive gets stuck when i try ejecting it in the vertical position
