Hello, I just recently replaced the analog stick for my psp phat because it broke. When I got it and start my game (lets say GTA) my guy just runs in circles....I've been doing lots of research and thought it was the rubber contact, so i replaced that also. Still, my analog stick in nonresponsive and my guy would do anything but run in a circle. Can anyone help..Other than this my psp works fine...Thanks in advance.

its the screw you need to loosen/tighten them till there set correctly

it does take a while and can be annoying but thats all it needs

be careful when loosening and tightening the screws you dont strip them

would it be the screws inside (actual analog stick) or the outer casing screws? or both....Thanks for responding

both have effect on it so id try the analog ones first and then try the case ones and see if that helps

Thanks, I am going to play around with it for awhile. I've been very careful not to strip the screws...I will let you know in a while. Thanks again!

I had this problem too of a drifting analog stick is that the same thing? I found a kid on you tube who had fixed it - there is a little plastic see through rubber thing with wires going through it. And they took it out and cleaned it and put it back in again. Sometimes it can be put back in the wrong way round and sometimes its slipped out of its place. Go to You Tube and search fix analog stick.
