Hi every1 currently takin interest in my thread I had a brand new lovely lookin Olympus Digital Camera with this nice large 2.5 inch screen and 7.1 megapixels and this was the best camera i have ever had. Now a problem has been placed before me when on my holiday a taxi driver violently through my baga that contained my camera in the van i was driving in. Now i have another Digital Video Camera and unfortunately that must of fell of the other one and smashed my screen so now instead of paying a rediculus amount of money replacing the screen I decided i'd take the risk of buying a new screen and puting it in. I would like to know what i have to do and how much and where (on web or at a store) can i get the screen needed and cheap Thankyou in advance Kind Regards Broc455
You can't just go in a store and buy an LCD screen for a camera. They are not sold to the general public. If they are available at all, it is to authorized camera repairers. This kind of situation is what insurance is meant for. You did get travel insurance, didn't you? If not, maybe your household insurance will cover at least some of the loss?
sorry, i can't find any screens - although i did find a lot of screen protectors which could come in quite handy
