no no no .. the firmware source link is non existent.. so it won't work.. unless you can find another source for that and whatever program you need to flash the drive. I thought diveneo had gone out of business early 2008 anyway? They made these claims about these drives but the only couple I ever saw only worked as well as the original drives and one was far worse.. I wouldn't trust that site to supply you anything at all.. tho they might just take your money. The missing firmware link (which has gone back to the domain registrars as for sale) is the end of that really .. look for an original xbox drive. should be dirt cheap.. llamma might still have some.
You are in luck.. I actually have the firmware flash utility on one of my backup disks.. that's a fluke. well i think that price doesnt include shipping cost i remember ordering from them about a year ago but i think im just going to take my xbox to the local playNTrade and sell it to them and then buy a used console wich is 50$ im only worried that they wont take it because its modded and honestly i dont think i have the correct tools to remove the old dvd drive because i took it apart i think it uses torx screwdrivers
