hi guys, i got a new modded 360 recently and its a lite-on, im not a huge fan of the lite-on becuase i find the benq alot more reliable and faster

my basic question is, is it possible to replace the lite-on in this xbox with a benq? or will i have to replace it with another lite-on? (i have to replace it one way or another, because its dying)

    thanks guys :)

as long as you can extract the key (dummy.bin) from the liteon you can spoof a benq to think its a liteon and use that

not banned, but i wont be going online
why do you reccomend this firmware and drive? (i know i said benq above, and thats what im going to go with, but it is the general concensus that the benq is the best drive right?)

personal opinion only but i like benqs easy to work with.
1.6 firmware because you should be able to leave that firmware on and it will play any wave.

Id say stick with the lite-on, they are still quite good drives and once you have the drive key, flashing is very easy. (Plus they are vitually unbrickable)
