Hey. I've purchased my PSP about one-two years ago. In my opinion, I just can't downgrade it. I'm 13 and I don't want it bricked. I'm really new to all this. I know there are guides, but can somebody inform me. Whats the safest thing to do? Btw, I bought my PSP in the United Kingdom and I have a 2gb memory card. Thank You. -Irtiza
Firstly, what do you want to do with your psp that requires you to downgrade it? Aside from that, the safest thing to do would be not downgrade it, but there is actually little risk in a downgrade, if you follow everything to the letter then you shouldn't have much chance of bricking, just the other day i helped someone with your firmware downgrade to 1.50 then up to 3.40 OE-A with no problems what-so-ever.
Yeah dude I bought mine at 2.60 then went to 2.71 then downgraded to 1.50 then went to 3.51 m33. No bricks at all. I say downgrade. As long as you have 100% battery life and it's plugged it to the AC you should be fine. I actully didn't even have mine plugged into the AC and it still worked.
If you ask me You should UPGRADE to 2.80 because the 2.80 HEN makes me feel so much safer and i have modded 3 PSPs now with 2.80 and non of them are bricked i made 3 of my family members rele happy and if you go to the ULTIMATE DOWNGRADE GUIDE on qj.net you'll be jus fine i felt that way oo when i did my own but now i feel like i am expert lol
