Hi, I just started getting this problem recently and thought it was a defective drive, so I got a new sony burner and used the nero software that came with it. I'm still getting the same problem when trying to burn dvd. you Nero 7 version could be buggy: there is a better version of Nero 7.... 7.10.1.0........ Save your serial # then uninstall Nero! Use the cleaning tool: Nero7 Clean tool http://www.nero.com/enu/support-nero7-tools-utilities.html do a registry clean up using this free cleaner: CCleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com/download then do a defrag and reboot! now reinstall Nero 7.10.1.0: http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?2893 also: if this is a virtual drive.... disable it and turn it off! Virtual drives doesn't mix well with Nero.
