Resetting Video Ipod

    How can you do a hard reset on the ipod??? Are their any key presses like previous versions???

    Yes, but it is only a soft reset:

    1. Toggle hold button to 'hold' then 'off hold'.
    2. Hold Menu and Select until power turns off (then apple logo appears)

    A 'hard' reset (or factory reset) is more like this:

    Open up the apple updater software (START----->ALL PROGRAMS----->IPOD----->IPOD UPDATER )

    Connect your iPod to your computer and select 'Restore'. You'll lose all your music and data, but if the freezing problem has to do with your firmware, this restore will fix your iPod.
