No problem. I'm a huge Resident Evil 4 nut. I played through several times on the gamecube version and am now playing through the PS2 version, which I have already beat a few times too. It's almost sick how much I play the game. It is one of the sweetest games though. If you have any other Resident Evil 4 questions, fire away. :)

They actually tweaked up the regular game play quite a bit. The items and such are basically in the same locations, but the merchant sells things at different prices and allows you to get some weapons earlier than you did in the Gamecube version. Example you can now buy the TMP at the first merchange in the PS2 version.

They also added Seperate Ways, which is a new side quest where you play as Ada Wong. It is different from Assignment Ada because you can save and get new weapons with a merchant. Basically you control Ada at the time you are controlling Leon through the main quest. It takes around 5 hours to complete. It answers some unanswered questions.

Also they added a new weapon, the P.R.L., which is a sweet laser that kills the plagas inside the enemies body, it has unlimited ammo. It is free when you beat the game on PRO level. It is fun to play with, but it doesn't give you that satisfying splat of eneimes exploding when you blow of their head for instance. It is very powerful though and can take out any of the bosses with a few hits placed well.

Oh yeah, and I almost forgot, they also put in new costumes for Leon and Ashley. Ashley gets a full suit of armor which actually allows her to not get hurt by enemy or your own fire, and she also cannot get carried away by enemies. It defintely helps on the PRO level, because you don't have to worry about watching after Ashley. Leon also gets a sharp 50s gangster style outfit with a nice hat. If you unlock the Chicago Typewriter and you are wearing that new outfit he will do some special animations when you try to reload. :)
