a quick question for all, how to restore the default opening program from nero (ex. vob,avi,iso,mpg). i have even uninstalled and cleared my registry and all of these files still have the nero symbol instead of what they used to have. i was able to use windows media encoder to encode vob's from any dvd for my smartphone media player. now wme says "needed codec is missing to complete the conversion". and this is all since i installed nero. i appreciate any reply and thank everyone for your time.
Open the program that was once the default and it should ask if you want to make it your default....program. Update the software(s) missing codecs and it should install them for you unless you have to purchase them.
