Sorry if it has been posted before but I don't see no one with the same question...

Ok here's the deal. I have 2 HD's. HD1 has WinXP installed... everything setup and running, HD2 has music and etc.

If I boot the restore CDs, am I going to lose all my HD2 files or is it just going to restore my HD1 ?

Basically what I want to do is restore my computer (HD1) w/o deleting files from HD2.

I don't know what restore Cd's you have, but it should not touch your second hard drive.

All right. What about when I restore; is my comp going to recognize the HD2? Or am I going to have to format it???
