I have softmodded my xbox, but deleted my backup to my original dashboard. Now i cant go into the screen where all the games are or anything.. so I cant play xbox live or delete any saved games. I would want to go back to the original dash so that i could play x box live again. I dont know anything about ftp or what to do because im new to this. Could anyone please help me go back to the original dash?
Ok very simple all u need is the files u soft modded with the linux files and the game you soft modded with... 1.load the game u soft modded with. 2.Go 2 as if u were going to soft mod 3.Then select uninstall softmods when u get to the mod screen(the one where u first soft modded) 4.Follow the instructions as u unistall the soft mods 5.Then thats it
ok ill try since i dont have my action replay with me, is there any other way i could restore because i dont have the files..??

yes if u still have the files on your xbox just put in the game and uninstalll the soft mods its in the list of options when u go to the modding screen...Then select uninstall soft mods... Did u make an MS backup and eeprom if u didnt shame on u.... if u did =) u may procced with uninstalling
ok well i put the game in, but it didnt have the profile for installing the softmod.. so i cant get to the screen that says remove or anything like that.. man this suckz
