when i right click on my desktop and go to properties, there is a box that pops up that says "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator." Please help...
Do you have access to an administrator account? I think that you can set this using the registry... Can you go Control Panel > Display? I assume you're running Windows XP?
i cant go to control panel. i cant even find it anymore...its not on my start menu either. yes its my computer....and theres only one account. i dont get y im not the administrator though?
Thats not a bad idea, but does he have those privileges? Speaking of that, is it possible for a virus to make it so you can't do a virus scan? If so that would be a pretty nasty virus.
