I have the K-lite mega codec pack with media player classic installed on my laptop. Most retail dvds I try tp play on it don't work. When I load them in MPC I get "dvd copy-protect failed" and in wmp11 I get "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card." These titles DO work with Nero Showtime, but that's not a solution for me because my 30day trial is almost over... What could be causing this issue and what should I do? Edit: I do have DVDFab5 installed; could the copy-protection on the dvds be detecting that and causing them not to play?
