    hi...
i brought a new AMD 64X2 processor but im very such confused with the motherboard.......the main problem is i got an 8x 128mb AGP card from ASUS........and there are two motherboards which suite my req, they are

ASUS M2N-MX SE this board does not support [8x AGP card slot], has 1000mhz max bus speed
    &
MSI K9MM-V [which supports my old ASUS 128mb AGP card], but has 800mhz max bus speed

    but in
ASUS motherboard it is havin sharable graphics n its havin 16x express graphics card slot and MSI is supportin both the processor as well as my ASUS 128mb graphics card......
i'm confused now with which motherboard i should go........

pls suggest me the best n tell me wat all u know about these company board performance n features n disadvantages..

Is the processor based on the AM2 socket type or socket 939?

Either way most AGP is basically obsolete now so I would not reccomend purchasing a board with the agp bus on it.

If you REALLY like that card I know there were a couple motherboards which were made that have bothe agp and PCI express slots on them

If your short on cash and just want to get the system running you could get a Asus M2A-VM ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131172 )which supports pci express and has a decent onboard graphics to get you by until you have the money to upgrade.
