    Help!!

I've been burning DVD+RW disks no problem with my new drive, and finally decided I was ready to burn to DVD+R. Using the bundled Nero, it informs me that there is insufficient space to write to the disk when I use datawrite DVD+R disks. So I tested it with the bundled Ricoh DVD+R disk and got the same result.

    Any suggestions??

    Hi matthat,

I had the same problem as did a mate with the same burner. It seems to be a problem with Nero.

If you try different burning software it should work. I had neoDVD bundled with mine and it recognises the +R dvd's. I haven't tried burning anything with it though cos I prefer Nero.

    Cheers

Version 5.5.10, the latest version on the site. The installer recognises whether you have a full copy and simply upgrades if you do, otherwise it installs the demo.

Ricoh support are still trying to decide how to fix the problem for me..!

There's an even newer version on nero web.

    5.5.10.7

I had problems on some dvd players when burning with 5.5.10.0, the new one has fixed the bug and increased compatability.
