Ridata DVD-R 16X my dvd writer is not recognizing it

    Hi,
    i bought a new pack of Ridata DVD-R 16X speed but when i put dvd disk in my LG DVD writer model NO GSA-H55L 20X MULTI DVD WRITER .
    my writer is not recognizing the disk because when i start burning it ask me for put the disk in the driver. but i already put the disk in . please help me i buy a pack of 50 i dont know what is the prob.

    Try another brand of discs...Ritek's don't have the best track record.

    What program are you using for your backup? What brand were you using before?

    Nero7, i use fujifilm dvd-R 8X, MAXELL+ -R DVD16X

    I'd go back to one of them then...although both use different manufacturers for their discs, you may still see better compatability. Most people have excellent results with Verbatim.
