Hi, I've got an avi file, but I only get audio from the left channel. How do I create a audio right-channel and what do I use? Also, if an avi has obvious interlacing effects, can I re-process the video to eliminate it? Thanks.
1. Well the best you can do is create a duplicate right audio channel (i.e. LEFT AUDIO = RIGHT AUDIO). Open the WAV file in Sound Recorder or something and go File --> Properties --> Convert 2.VDub has an deinterlace filter. (Video --> Filters --> Add --> Deinterlace)
Thanks. I wasn't able to get a working WAV from NanDub (it just seemed to be an empty file). But I did open the AVI in Sound Forge and used the Channel Convertor to duplicate left to right, then saved an MP3, which I then re-saved into the AVI file using NanDub again. I figured, like you said, I would have to duplicate the left channel. I'll have to try that deinterlace option in VDub. Thanks again
