Rip A DVD-9 TO A 4.37 DvD with AC3 AND BURN?

    I used SmartRipper to rip the movie to my HDD then I'm trying to burn a personal back up. When i pull the .vob chapter files to nero and then select Write cd. nero displays that it can't find .....

    required file 'VIDEO_TS.IFO' is not present
    required file 'VIDEO_TS.BUP' is not present
    required file 'VTS_01_0.BUP' is not present
    DvD video files complience test failed

    SO i'm either ripping it wrong or i need to edit the .VOB files.... can someone help!

    DVD backup doesn't work like that. IFOEdit is the answer you're looking at. I can tell you now, just to scare the s..t out of you that learning DVD -> DVD-R backup takes _TIME_ and you are bound to read tons and tons of forum posts, guides, etc and destroy bunch of blank DVD-Rs before you get it right. Check out doom9's DVD-R guides first.
