HIya guys its a while since i've been on here. Jus wonderin how can i backup a dvd so that it saves onto my computer as a avi file or an mpg. For example if i got my finding nemo dvd an tried to rip it using dvd shrink then it would save on my comouter as vob files etc. So how could i do it so that it would come up on my computer as a n avi or mpg file etc. What program do i need. Please tell me how to do it using a free program as i'm not a big fan of paying for software so please could it be freeware. All help appreciated as usual. Thanks a lot for anyones help cjdj
i am also curious about how to do this but when i try to use dvdtoavi it keeps crashing is there an easy way to do it with dvd decrypter i only get vob files as well
First, rip to HD using DVDDecrypter in IFO mode. Then process to XviD AVI using GordianKnot: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/gordian_knot.cfm Regards
