    Hi everyone.

I need to know if there is a way to rip my DVD's easily to the old Windows Media codec (MS-MPEG4V3 with the old Windows Media Audio codec)?

I would like to be able to rip a DVD into a single VOB (which I know how to do) and then use a program to convert it to MS-MPEG4V3. I don't know if it can be this easy. I don't mind paying for software if needed. I tried Canopus ProCoder but I can't use the old Windows Media Audio codec just the old video codec.

I have tried Sonic Foundry StreamAnywhere but it won't let me import my VOB MPEG-2 files.

Does anyone know of a way to do this? My ultimate goal is to have some DVD's in this format at 256kbps and stream them over the internet. Any suggestions on ways to do this?

    Thank you very much.

Clonedvdmobile will allow you rip dvd to many different formats,
It will not break css decryptions so you will need to decrypt them
beforehand (manually or I use anydvd myself).

CloneDVD mobile converts your DVD movies quickly and easily into a format that your portable device (Sony PSP, Apple iPod Video, iAudio X5, Creative Labs ZEN Vision, etc) can play. You can also convert your DVDs to other file formats, such as DivX, XviD, AVI, MP4, etc.

I just recently purchased this program but I have used
anydvd and clonedvd2 from the same company for a while
    anfd they are all fantastic.

    Good luck

or you can use a combination od DVD Decrypter and psp video 9/Xilisofts psp video converter.. which would be the no cost option in doing what you just asked.
