I apologize for posting this in more than one area but I am really having a problem. I am trying to use RipIt4Me to burn DVDs but I can not get the software to work properly. Everytime I try to use the program it freezes and it says that it has to close. I have tried to enable my DMA by setting bothe the primary and secondary IDE channels to DMA if Available. Ever since adjusting this and restarting my computer I have been having more problems. Almost ever program I try to open freezes i.e. Windows Media Player and Power DVD. Do I have a problem with my computer now in addition to the problem with RipIt4Me? Please help me I am new to DVD burning and I am not extreamly good with computers.

Most likely it is your dvd drive. Try updating frimware or try and use DVDfabDecrypter.

I spoke with the people that manufacture my drive and they gave me the program LiveUpdate, but it says There's no program supported by LiveUpdate on your system! and then I lost connection with the support team.

what type of burner do you have?
Determine which one you have and report back to us and we'll help you out, which burning program do you use? Nero, IMGBurn, or CloneDVD? more info will help.
Most DVD/RW drive firmware can be found here,

Do you have DVD Decrypter? It is required for RipIt4Me. I have found that since my last update I was having the same issue. What I found, is that if you open DVD Decrypter, then open RipIt4Me it will work fine.

However, the other stuff on your computer is troubling. I would try to restore to before you were having all the problems.

What type of computer do you have?
Do you have any special keyboard hotkeys program?
This has been known to conflict with some computers especially with HP computers.
