I used DVDFab HD Decrypter to rip a Blu-Ray movie to my hard disk in it's default series of folders. What do I need to use to either : (A) Burn it to a BD-R or BD-RE disc using a BluRay burner? (I assume Nero8/Roxio will know what to do with the files). (B) Convert it to a .ISO file so that it can be burned to a BD-R or BD-RE in the future when I finally buy a home BD player. (C) Play it back on my computer. Is special hardware/software required or do I just need the latest winDVD/VLC/PowerDVD software ? Converting a BluRay disc to standard DVD would be counter productive since using a regular DVD source it proven easy.

Ok, the latest VLC media player plays it back fine. 1 down, 2 to go. Can someone please point me to a program that can create and ISO file from the folder of a blue-ray movie so that I can burn it at a later date to a BD-RE disk ? DVDshrink can't handle the structure so I am at a loss.
Is anybody going to bother answering this ? I am completely familiar with what to do with regular DVD's but this is my first foray into blu-ray.
With the cost of Blu ray blanks, it's cheaper to just buy another copy of the movie! That doesn't even count the cost of the burner! The cheapest burner I've seen is over $500. There may be cheaper ones, but I haven't seen them. At this point in time, burning a copy to a Blu ray disc, is a HUGE waste of money! If you have so much money, that you don't know what else to do with it, please.........send it to me! )
right now it's easier tobuy hard drives than to backup using blu-ray cuz for example 500 for the burner plus a couple of blank blu-ray wich is like 10 each at least 600 with that you can get more than 1500gb wich is plenty of space you can get another compter an use as a big NAs plus hosting files whatever there are a thousand more usefull things to do than spend 500 on a bluray burner but if you got the money then end of discussion and start living the future

Right now I have the files in a directory. i simply wanted to know how to either create an ISO image for storing or how to actually burn it back to a BDR disc. I got a free blank BD-RW disc with a new Sony laptop and wanted to at least try it. I agree that at $99 for a 500GB external UBS/esata drive on ecost that it's cheaper to use hard disc space. I just wanted to know how to do it.
Use Nero 8 to burn back the files to BD-RE or BD-R.. However there are two disk formats at the mo 25 & 50Gb. Most Blu-ray movies are on the 50Gb disks. I've only had one disk cause a problem, thats the New Simpsons Movie which will play on a PC however will not on a PS3 as the movie breaks up. BTW. Create a UDF 2.5 or above disk in Nero.
