ripping audio from a movie file?

    i have a QuickTime Movie with a song that i want to make into a mp3 to burn on a music cd. i want to listen to the song in my car. are there anyways of getting the song by itself?

    One way is to use an audio stream ripper; that is a program that records the audio sent to your speakers digitally. My favorite is Total Recorder (http://www.highcriteria.com/)... sadly, though, it is a trial. You can also check out the Super MP3 Recorder (http://www.supermp3recorder.com/)... it is free, or at least was free ages ago, however it is nowhere near as good as Total Recorder.
