Ripping DVD to play on iPad

Hi,

I'm trying to rip mymdvds to play on my iPad, I have tried using dvdfab but it keeps stopping at 20% and says there is a reading error,mi have tried on two separate laptops with different DVDs and it does the same...any suggestions?.
I have also tried DVD shrink, while this rips it, it is storing it in video ts and audio ts instead of one movie???

I'm not so good with computers so any help would be appreciated.

 

In DVD Fab, select 'Main Movie' and save the target output to a folder.

Download and run Handbrake.
On the left pane select 'iPad'.
On the top menu click 'Source' > 'Folder' - browse to and select the VIDEO_TS folder.
Click 'Start'.

thnaks, go tit to work, how do i get it to play with subtitles on it though??

 

Don't know how iPads handle subs.
Either check the 'Burned in' box for permanent subs or if the iPad can turn subs on/off, leave unchecked.
