I just built a media P.C. for the living room with plenty on hard drive space. My question is, what is the best way to rip my DVD's to the hard drive, with high quality, one file and one step? Thanks!
read up on dvd decrypter and agk both of those programs are excellent. You will have to sniff around for awhile before you can find dvd decrypter. Once you have them both you'll want to use dvd decrypter first. that will put the movie on your hdd but it will take up around 8.5 gigs worth of space and that adds up real fast. So use agk after that and agk will isolate the movie by itself and convert it to avi and shirnk it to around 2 gigs (or whatever size you want) without losing very much quality.
thank you very much...i have all those programs...been ripping (backing up) my dvd's for years just new to putting it on my hard drive as a file for viewing...
