Ripping DVDs

    I tried to download DVD43 but it doesn't seem to be out there anymore. I just want to copy movies so the kids can watch the ripped one and I can save the original to keep it from getting scratched! Does anyone know where I can get a program that will overide the copyright codes and allow me to do this?

    dvd43 is horrible anyway you don't want it on your machine.

    use the thread iluvendo posted for the best most up to date methods on backing up your DVDs

    DVD Decrypter is a good freeware. It can overide the copyrightcodes to let you to backup the dvd.

    you can always go out and buy some d-skins that way you won't have to worry about trying to break copy protection or any thing like that.

    DVD43 is junk. Use iluvendo's link for a few options and better methods.
